Piece Three

Augmented Concert

In PIECE THREE we experimented with a spatialisation technique for orchestra and audience, by turning the cellphones of the audience into individual speakers. Based on where they were seated, each audience member was assigned a voice of the composition and became an integral part of the piece.

What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.

The original project was a collaboration between Landesmusikrat Berlin and KLING KLANG KLONG // OUR ROLE Creative Direction, Concept, Composition, Sound Design, Programming, Mixing // Orchestra Landesjugend Orchester Berlin / Conducter Lancelot Fuhry // Year 2022

The original concert

PIECE THREE has been written originally for the "Listening to Climate Change" concert, hence the name.

In LISTENING TO CLIMATE CHANGE the Youth Orchestra Berlin performed a concert to raise awareness for a more ecological tomorrow. The repertoire included five classical pieces written between 1737 and 2008 with five pieces written and produced by us. Through the mixed concert program a timeline emerged where our compositions musically represented the changing climate. In collaboration with Landesmusikrat Berlin we experimented with the implementation of new technologies into the traditional concert setting.
